Mr Roo pop-art sculpture by Nursel Önen

Mr. Roo: In Search of Childhood and Pure Love

Some people grow up. Others keep the child inside them alive. This is exactly where Mr. Roo's story begins. I've loved cartoons since I was a child — and I still watch them. Those worlds hold something we so often miss in real life: innocence. A gaze that doesn't judge, doesn't calculate, but simply marvels. Maybe that's why, even today, I still stop at every playground and want to get on the swing. As I rise toward the sky, I return for a few seconds to those days when anything felt possible. We grow up — but some feelings never do. Mr. Roo is that very feeling, sculpted into form. He is my childlike side and the heart of my character universe: joy, pure love, and the passion to make life a little more beautiful. He is not just a figure, but a symbol of curiosity, of the courage to dream, and of the love that lives on in all of us. When I designed him, I didn't want a flawless figure but a character that reminds people of themselves. That's why Mr. Roo doesn't have just one single face.

Why Roo?

Childhood is the endless curiosity in the eyes, the unconditional love in the heart, and that restless energy that barely fits inside the body. Mr. Roo was born to remind us of that energy. He is a little ambassador: he shows that happiness is contagious, that laughter unites, and that love multiplies the more we share it.

A Slice of Life, a Piece of You

Every Roo tells of one of the many personalities we take on in life. Sometimes he's a lover, sometimes a passionate traveler, sometimes someone chasing their dreams. He carries that unique harmony of life, art, and nature. What makes him personal are the details: every symbol, every word can be a piece of your life. My wish: that when you look at him, you first feel the smile that awakens the child within you — and then find your own story, your hobbies, and your desires in him.

Would You Like to Hug Him?

The world needs pure love and a kinder way of seeing more than ever. In a corner of your home, Mr. Roo whispers your childhood to you, the freedom of looking up at the sky, and how simple yet powerful love can be. He wasn't made only to be looked at; he was designed so that a bond forms, so that he belongs to you and lets you feel that pure love anew every day. So — which one is your Roo today? Just ask the little child inside you.

Mori and Miro pop-art sculptures by Nursel Önen

Mori & Miro: Two Wings of Love and Hope

Childhood is the purest library life offers us — a world of joy, curiosity, and boundless dreams. I created Mori and Miro, who come from Mr. Roo's universe, with inspiration drawn from exactly this world: two companions, one carrying love, the other hope. The balloon at their side is a symbol not only of childhood, but of every achievement and every joyful moment we celebrate even as grown-ups. With their colorful balloons in hand, they set out to spread love and hope across the world with a child's excitement.

Why Mori and Miro?

Their names come from the ancient language of nature and peace. Mori is born from the Japanese word for “sacred forest” — it represents harmony with nature, stillness, and that organic beauty that grows in every moment. Miro is rooted in the Slavic words for “peace” and “world” — it is the name of inner peace and of that radiant hope which brings people together.

A Slice of Life, a Piece of You

Just like life, these figures are in motion: two friends running to bring love and hope to everyone. Every color and symbol on them is a synthesis of the modern world and nature. The floral patterns reflect the joy of life that nature gives us; the Pop-Art-inspired lines carry traces of our personality — as complex yet as colorful as life itself. My aim is to leave behind a piece that touches everyone: when you find one of your moments, a beloved hobby, or the child within you in them, you become one with the figure.

Are You Ready to Carry This Love and Hope?

The world needs more smiles, more love, and more hope. In a corner of your home, Mori and Miro are here to remind you of the unforgettable joy of your childhood and to help you find peace amid the daily rush. They are not mere objects, but two close friends who whisper to you to share love and to look toward tomorrow with hope. So today — would you rather hug Mori, with the balloon of love in hand, or Miro, who comes toward you with hope-filled steps?

Pandy pop-art sculpture by Nursel Önen

Pandy: Childhood's Warm and Soft Refuge

In the earliest years of our childhood, there is a place nothing else can fill: the place of that dearest soft friend who kept us company at night and with whom we shared our secrets. Pandy was born exactly from these pure memories and from the sense of security and tenderness those friends gave us. Belonging to Mr. Roo's universe, Pandy is here — just like him — to make the world more beautiful and to remind you of your childhood at every moment.

Why Pandy?

Its name is inspired by that cuddly friend of our childhood whom we hugged most dearly — reimagined to be softer and more endearing. Pandy is not just a figure, but the very symbol of what we embraced most in childhood and what holds the largest place in our memories. Even as we grow up, it represents that search for pure love which the child within us never gives up.

A Slice of Life, a Piece of You

Through its different series, Pandy reflects the many sides of life and art. In the floral series, you see how nature and childhood innocence become one flawless whole; the Pop-Art-inspired surfaces and abstract lines are a nod to our lives — as complex yet as colorful as we are. Every pattern and color on it is part of our effort to give life meaning. My aim: that when you look at it, you find a piece of yourself, see your own story, and in the end feel the warmth of that “hug.”

How About a Hug for Pandy?

The bond people form with Pandy is, in truth, a return ticket to childhood. Pandy is there to bring joy to your home, peace to your heart, and color to your day. It's not just a sculpture, but a life companion that reminds you of pure love at every moment and brings out the child within you. How about stepping away from life's chaos for a while and taking a step, with Pandy, into the safe and peaceful world of your childhood?
